New IPS system for professional vessels
A new IPS platform will be suitable for combinations of energy sources.
Volvo Penta is to introduce a new Inboard Performance System (IPS) platform – the next evolution in its integrated helm-to-propeller experience.
Due to go into production in 2025, the system will build upon the existing Volvo Penta IPS, and will be suitable for professional vessels and superyachts from 25 to 55+ meters with a top speed from 12-40 knots.
