Superyacht sector expansion plans

A ship repair and maintenance group has ambitions to expand in the superyacht sector.

Ship repair and maintenance group Amarix, the owner of Macor and ETI Services companies, has acquired a 100% stake in French electrical and electromechanical services company Yachtelec.

The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, is part of a wider strategy to increase the group’s market presence and to expand the company’s Macor brand in the international super- and mega-yacht sectors.
